When it comes to losing weight and getting in shape many people are literally at their wits end and just plain fed up with their lack of progress. The biggest mistake most people make when they go to the gym is to hop on any piece of equipment and just go through the motions while staring at the TV on the wall. Although this is better then nothing working out this way will ultimately get you no where fast. In order to burn fat and lose weight in the fastest way possible you have to bring your heart rate up to aerobic levels. Aerobic heart levels are somewhere between 120 an 190 beats per minute depending on your height,weight, age and gender. When you reach your target heart rate levels try and maintain it for a minimum of fifteen minutes.
